Description

This barn, located approximately 20 metres north of The Manor House, dates from the mid 18th century. It is constructed of rubble with a pantile roof that features a course of stone slates at the eaves. The barn is two storeys high and has five internal bays. On the ground floor, there is one vent, one blocked vent, a blocked doorway, a stable door with a stone lintel, and another blocked vent. The first floor includes three vents. The barn has raised verges and a fox weather-vane positioned at the centre of the ridge. Inside, the roof trusses are supported by low collars. This barn is included for its group value with The Manor House.
