Description

This large barn, dating from the 18th century or earlier, is located in the grounds of Manor House on Manor Lane in Barleythorpe. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features a stone tiled roof with coped gables. The barn has large double doors with a brick cambered head and a stone keystone, situated in a central bay that projects above the eaves line, with the roof sweeping around it. There are various squared ventilation holes, and to the left, there is a single window with stone voussoirs.
