Description

This building is a barn dating from the late 17th century, located on the street frontage of the Manor House in Greatford. It is constructed from squared, coursed, and banded limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is covered with concrete tiles. The barn has a single-storey, single-bay front, which includes full-height double planked doors set in a quoined opening beneath a timber lintel. There are two tiers of square breathers for ventilation. The roof structure consists of oak pegged double butt purlins arranged in four bays.
