Description

Spring Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is built of roughcast rubble with some areas of brick patching and has a pantile roof. The cottage has two storeys and features a rear outshut, with three windows on the first floor. The openings are topped with wedge lintels. The central entrance has a board door with a four-pane overlight above it. The windows are primarily sash style with glazing bars, except for a four-pane sash window on the ground floor to the right and a nine-pane fixed-light window on the first floor above the door. There are brick stacks at both ends of the building. The cottage is included for its group value.
