Description

Nos. 9 and 11 Farm Street, known as Rosecott, is a cottage that was originally two separate homes. It dates from the 18th century and was extended in the 19th century and remodeled in the 20th century. The building is constructed from cut and squared ham stone with ashlar dressings and features a clay pantiled roof with stepped coped gables and brick chimney stacks.

The cottage is two storeys high with an irregular arrangement of four bays. The first and second bays have 20th-century mullioned windows, with a three-light window above and a single five-light window below. The third and fourth bays feature hollow-chamfer mullioned windows, each with three lights above, and a four-light window below that spans both bays, complete with a label. Between the second and third bays, there is a plain boarded door with a fanlight above. The interior has not been seen.
