Description

The Homestead and attached outbuildings is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, and features a Welsh slate roof with stepped coped gables and a sawn stone ridge. The building has two storeys and three bays, with 16-pane sash windows in plain openings. The lower bay features a six-flush-panel door set in a semi-circular arched recess, which is topped by a radial glazed fanlight. The arch has a plain ashlar surround with impost blocks and a keystone. The interior has not been seen. Attached to the north gable is a plain barn that matches the farmhouse, which includes an open wagon shed at the north end.
