Description

Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of local stone that has been cut and squared, with some ashlar dressings. The roof is made of Welsh slate, featuring a sawn stone ridge, with some sections having coped gables and others with bargeboarded gables. The building has stone end chimney stacks and a double roof plan.

The farmhouse has two storeys with attics and a two-bay south elevation. It features 16-pane sash windows in plain openings, each with large stone lintels. The east elevation has double gables and consists of four bays, with two bays on each gable. The upper bays 1, 2, and 3, as well as the lower bays 1, 2, and 4, all have 16-pane sash windows. There is a six-panelled door in lower bay 3, which is sheltered by an open flat-roofed stone porch supported by Tuscan columns and pilasters that carry a simplified entablature. Above the gables, there is flat coping, below which is a casement attic window. The interior has not been seen.
