Description
Nos 15 and 16 High Street are a pair of cottages, likely built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from local lias stone that is roughly cut and squared, topped with a clay pantiled roof featuring coped gables and stone and brick chimney stacks. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of two bays each, with No 16 being wider than No 15. Most windows are three-light small pane casements, set beneath voussoired stone flat arches over plain openings. The lower bay of No 16 has a two-light window. The doors are boarded with glazed panels in heavy frames; the door to No 15 is located in the first bay, while the door to No 16 is positioned between the two bays. The interiors have not been seen.
