Description

Gunville Farm House is a farmhouse dating from around 1820. It is constructed from coursed local stone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof with simple verges and brick chimney stacks. The building has a double roof plan and stands two storeys high with three bays. The upper level has 12-pane sash windows set in plain ashlar surrounds. On the lower level, there are angled bay windows with 8+16+8 panes and leaded roofs. Between these bay windows is a 6 fielded-panel door, which has a non-classical surround with a semi-circular plain fanlight in an arch supported by pilasters, all beneath an open pedimented timber hood on carved wood brackets. The interior has not been seen.
