North boundary wall and gatepiers, about 5 m north of Yew Tree Farmhouse

GV II

Boundary wall with gate. Probably late C18. Cary stone cut and squared, Doulting stone dressings, wrot iron gates. Walls average one metre high, with plain copings: two gateways, one at east end for drive, the other opposite front door of farmhouse, with square plan piers having 4-gabletted tops; gates to drive have twist-spear tops to rails; similar gate to front path in cast iron. The whole has group value with Yew Tree Farmhouse (qv) and considerable streetscape value.
