Description

The wall and piers to the west of Yew Cottage form a boundary and entrance for the garden. Likely built in the early 19th century, the structure features rusticated ashlar piers alongside sandstone rubble walls topped with ashlar coping. There are three square piers at the north end of the wall that create a central gateway, each adorned with bands beneath low pyramidal coping. The wall itself has flat coping that runs continuously with the bands of the piers.
