Description

The Babcary War Memorial is a First World War memorial erected in the 1920s in the churchyard of the Church of the Holy Cross in Babcary. It commemorates the four men from the parish who lost their lives while serving their country. Their names are inscribed on a brass plaque inside the adjacent church.

The monument features a stone-carved obelisk set on a tapered pedestal with blind panels. One side of the obelisk, which is visible from Church Road, displays a carved flag that wraps around the base, with a small wreath positioned above it at the top of the obelisk.
