WINCHAM CP BACK STREET (West side) ST30NE 4/86 Village cross, about 5 metres south-east of The George - GV II

Village cross. Medieval base. C20 top. Ham stone, with some repairs to base in local lias stone, Two-step base, then an almost cuboid block about 700mm high, with broached base and top; the C20 shaft tapers from about 300mm square to about l50mm square, with plain latin cross off top.
