Description

The village cross in Monyash is a medieval structure made of limestone and gritstone. It features a wide square base constructed from large limestone blocks and a smaller square plinth. Above this is a deep gritstone octagonal base supporting a tapering gritstone pier that stands 7 feet high, topped with a small head. The arms of the cross are missing.
