Description

Dairy Cottage is a detached cottage, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is built of ham stone coursed rubble with ashlar dressings, and has a thatched roof with stepped coped gables and brick end chimney stacks. The south elevation, which faces the road, is three bays wide and set at a right angle to the road. It features plain mullioned windows with leaded lights; three-light windows are in the outer bays, and a two-light window is in the upper central bay. A 20th-century part-glazed door is located in the lower bay of the second bay. The rear elevation is similar in design. The interior has not been inspected.
