Description
The Coach House, located 30 metres west northwest of Hadspen House, dates from around 1830. It is constructed of ham stone ashlar and features a hipped Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and consists of eight bays. There are plain pairs of doors in bays 2 and 7, and a large segmental-arched doorway in bay 6. The remaining bays have 2-light plain chamfered surround windows with small pane cast iron lights, while modern casements have been added above in the original surrounds of bays 2, 4, 5, and 7. This structure is part of a notable 18th-century group.
