Farmhouse. C17. Cary stone with Doulting stone dressings; Welsh slate roof between coped gables; brick end and intermediate chimney stacks. Now "U"-plan: North East elevation of 2 storeys, 4 bays with projecting 2-storey porch bay 3. Partly on Keinton stone plinth; reserved chamfer mullioned windows, 4-lights with a king mullion below, 3-lights above all with internal vertical iron bars, and iron frame opening casements; continuous string over bays 1 and 2 carried around porch; separate labels to first floor windows: porch opening has ovolo-mould surround, flat arch; above 2-light reserve chamfer mullioned window set into gable, which has carved finial. 2 further mullioned windows in South East gable, with casement windows under timber lintel to attic; on North West gable part of a large oven removed, and C20 brick chimney stack added. Interior not seen, but reported are ovolo door frames, scroll stop beams, some 4-centre arched fireplaces, wood newel winding staircase; roof collar trussed mostly with tenoned joints.
