Description

Hadspen Valley House is an early 19th-century farmhouse. It is constructed of Cary stone ashlar set on a Keinton stone plinth, with possible Ham stone dressings. The roof is covered in Welsh slate, and the ends have brick chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high with three wide bays. A band course runs along the building. It has 12-pane sash windows with plain surrounds and voussoired flat arches. The central entrance has a six-panel door with a Regency-style fanlight above, all within an architraved surround topped by an open pediment supported by console brackets. To the left is a wing wall containing a plain casement window, and a matching 20th-century lean-to has been added. The interior was not inspected.
