Description
Priddle's Hill House is a 17th-century cottage located in Pitcombe, Hadspen. It is constructed from roughly squared Cary stone with ashlar dressings and features a plain clay tile roof with coped gables. The building has an "L"-shaped plan and consists of two storeys with attics.
The south elevation displays a projecting gable with one bay followed by three additional bays. The windows are reserve chamfered mullioned types, with some variation in the mouldings. There are long two-light windows with labels above the gable and two-light windows on the return. The plain doorway, located under a deep lintel with a label, is found in the first bay. The second bay originally had a doorway that has been converted into a window, while the third bay features a three-light window with a label. On the first floor, there are three matching small two-light windows without labels. The roof includes two pitched dormers with plain glazed windows. A lean-to structure is attached to the east gable. The interior has not been seen.
