Farmhouse. Mid C19. Red brick, English bond, but with the alternate stretcher courses in glazed black brick, Ham stone quoins and dressings; plain clay tiles with bands of ornamental tiles between coped gabled with carved kneeler stones, brick chimney stacks. 2-storeys, 3-bays. Central front door set in architraves with timber arched and tile roofed porch; plain chamfer mullioned windows with large rectangular leaded panes, no labels, 3-lights below and 2-lights above. C20 extension to rear. More sophisticated version of pair of cottages 20 metres West of Old Sock Cottage (qv), of same design and date.
