Description
Woodrows Farm House is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century, with an early 19th-century return wing. It is constructed of square Ham stone and features a very woven clay tiled roof with coped gables and end chimney stacks that have been rebuilt in concrete blockwork. The main south front has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance has a pseudo-four centre arched doorway with a plain boarded door. On either side of the doorway are three-light hollow chamfered mullioned windows with hood label mouldings, each featuring an iron opening casement with butterfly catches in the center light. Above these are smaller and narrower three-light windows without labels, along with a two-light window situated over the front door. At the rear, there is an outshut, and to the west, a wing projects southwards, which includes a simple entrance door, two casement windows (originally part of a small separate dwelling), a wagon house, and a stable with a loft above. The interior has not been inspected.
