Description

Stone Farm House is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed in brick English bond. The roadside elevations are faced in stone with Ham stone dressings, topped by a plain clay tile roof with coped gables; the side roofs are hipped. Brick chimney stacks rise from the ends of the building. The house is arranged in a "L" shape, with a two-storey, five-bay East facade. The central doorway features a six-panel door, with two glazed panels, set within a beaded surround, and is approached by three stone steps. Above the door are twelve-pane sash windows, and above are six-pane sash windows, all within plain surrounds with stone cills, and flat arches formed with five voussoir stones, with projecting keystones. To the right of the main block is a two-storey, two-bay extension with plain stone lintols. To the left is a single-storey extension featuring a wooden casement window.
