Description

The Cottage is likely from the early 19th century. It is a single-storey cottage with an attic, originally having three bays. The exterior is built of local stone rubble with a thatched roof, and brick chimney stacks at the ends and between the bays. It has casement windows with horizontal glazing bars; some windows have exposed timber lintels. Upper windows in the first two bays are set into the thatch. A modern door and sidelight are located in the third bay. The cottage is attached to Brook Mead on its west side.
