Description

Corner Cottage is a cottage, possibly dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of local stone rubble, now whitewashed, with a thatched roof and brick end chimney stacks. The cottage is single-storey with an attic, and has three bays. The first bay has a small single-light casement set in a deep reveal. The second bay has an early three-light casement, and the third bay has a single light and a two-light casement; all windows have wooden hoods. Above, a metal window is located in the second bay, and a casement in the third bay, both set into the thatch. A new rear extension provides access to the entrance, which is on the side of the cottage. The interior remains unseen. A thatched well, listed separately, is attached to the north side of the cottage.
