Description

Thatchers Well is a cottage that possibly dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from local stone rubble and is whitewashed, featuring a thatched roof with a coped gable on the north side. The building has brick stacks at both the intermediate and end points. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and consists of two bays. The cottage has three-light casement windows and a thatch and timber porch that leads to a 20th-century door situated between the bays. The exposed wall plate adds to its character. Thatchers Well is attached to Corner Cottage on the south side.
