Description

Hardington House is an early 19th century former Rectory, now a private house. The building is stuccoed and colourwashed, with a Ham stone plinth and porch. It has a hipped Welsh slate roof and rendered chimney stacks. The west facade has three bays, featuring deep 12-pane sash windows on the ground floor and 6-pane sashes above, all set within plain openings with stone cills. A projecting stone porch with a flat roof has four neo-classical columns in pairs, with slim sidelights flanking double half-glazed doors. Extensions have been added to the rear.
