Description
Field View is a cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of ham stone rubble and features Ludlow pattern interlocking concrete tiles on the roof, along with brick end chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. It includes three-light small casement windows that have single horizontal glazing bars, with the lower windows showcasing exposed timber lintels. The central entrance door is plain and boarded, set in a heavy frame, and is accompanied by a 20th-century reconstructed stone, timber, and tile porch. There is an outshut at the rear of the cottage.
