Description
Duffield Bank Cottage is a cottage built in the late 18th century and early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings and features a plain tile roof with stone coped gables and brick gable stacks. The cottage is two storeys high and has a three-bay south elevation. The off-centre doorway has a stone lintel and massive quoins, and it features a 20th-century half-glazed door. To the right of the doorway is a two-light square section flush mullion window with small pane metal casements. To the left, there is a similar single light window, and further left is an early 19th-century metal casement window under a stone lintel. The first floor has three windows that match those on the ground floor.
