Description

Duffield Church Bridge is a road bridge over the River Derwent, likely built in the 16th century and widened around 1803 by Thomas Sykes. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features three segmental pointed double chamfered arches. The bridge has triangular cutwaters and a parapet with plain coping. It is also scheduled as an Ancient Monument.
