Description

This is a pair of garages located to the north of The Meadows in Duffield, dating from the late 18th century. The structure is built of red brick with sandstone dressings and features a Welsh slate roof, complemented by stone-coped gables with plain kneelers. A stone band runs along the first floor. The west elevation has two bays, each with a set of plank doors. Above these doors are blind semi-circular arches, which are adorned with moulded stone arches. The building was originally a coach house with a loft above, now repurposed as garages.
