Description
Vineyards and Reeds is a pair of cottages that have been combined into a single dwelling. They date from the 17th century, with some exterior features from the 19th century. The building is constructed of colourwashed rubble and has a triple Roman tile roof divided into two sections, with a coped verge on the left and a hipped roof on the right. There are two brick ridge stacks. The structure is two storeys high with a symmetrical layout of one bay on each side. It features three-light casement windows and a shopfront on the right side of the ground floor, which has nine panes by six panes, a flat entablature, and a moulded cornice. There are two door openings with plank doors; the door on the right is part of the shopfront, while the left door is set under a wooden lintel. A large rubble buttress is located on the right return of the building, and there is a wing that extends at right angles to the rear.
