Description
Mullions Hotel is a house that has been converted into a hotel, dating from the 16th or 17th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble and features a triple Roman tile roof with coped verges. The building has two rebuilt rubble ridge stacks and one 20th-century brick ridge stack. It has a cross-passage plan, is two storeys high with an attic, and consists of four bays. The windows are irregularly placed and include three and four-light ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned windows with stopped labels, predominantly featuring renewed leaded lights, along with some cast-iron casements. The door opening is located in the second bay and has a 20th-century ribbed door with a 20th-century stone hood supported by stone brackets. The hotel is situated in the ancient centre of Street.
