Description
Tudor Oaks Motel is a house that has been converted into a hotel, dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. It features timber-framed construction, primarily with colourwashed plaster infill, though some areas have red brick infill. The building has clay tile roofs and is designed in an H-plan with a main block that is two storeys high, along with cross-wings that also rise two storeys and have attics. The windows throughout are leaded casements, mostly replaced in the 20th century. The ground floor of the central block includes a lean-to addition that aligns with the cross-wings. On the left side of the central block, there is a substantial red brick ridge stack with five moulded octagonal shafts, while the right cross-wing has a red brick stack on its right side wall. The rear elevation features a small gabled projection that is two storeys high with attics, aligned with the ridge stack, and there are various 20th-century additions at the rear.
