Description

The Old Rectory is a house, formerly the rectory, dating from the 18th century. Two brick tablets display the inscription "R. W. 1720". The house is constructed of vitrified brick with red brick dressings, and has a clay tile roof. It is a symmetrical building with a 5-window front, arranged over two storeys and attics. There are four 2-light windows with a transom to both the ground and first floors, with a single-light window in the centre of the first floor. The central front door is part-glazed and sits under a cambered head. A brick band runs along the first floor, and another at eaves level to the gable ends. Brick coped gables and integral red brick stacks are present to both gable ends.
