Description
Church Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with additions and alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. It features timber-framed construction covered with colourwashed roughcast render and has clay tile roofs, some of which display a diamond pattern. There is also a 19th-century block made of colourwashed brick. The building is a two-storey L-plan structure, with two additional gables at the northern angle, creating an overall rectangular shape.
On the west elevation, there are two canted bays on the ground floor that contain sash windows with glazing bars, alongside a six-panel door set within a part-glazed porch. The first floor has three three-light casement windows. The other elevations showcase a variety of window styles, including a horizontal sash window on the first floor of the northern elevation. The original blocks feature red brick ridge stacks on the west and south sides, while the 19th-century block has a red brick gable end stack.
