Description

This is a row of six former workers' cottages, now converted into four separate dwellings, built in the early 19th century with later alterations. The cottages are constructed of coursed and squared lias rubble with wide bracketed eaves and a slate roof. There are four brick ridge stacks. The building is two storeys high and has six bays. It features 16-pane sash windows with rough-hewn voussoirs, and paired 8:8 pane sash windows beneath wedge lintels. Four of the original door openings contain 4-panelled doors, with one on the left having been replaced with a half-glazed door. Two further door openings have been blocked, one now containing a 9-pane sash window.
