Description
This is a well and cover located about 15 metres southeast of Kingweston Post Office, likely dating from the 19th century. It features Keinton stone slabs and has a low rubble stone base. On this base sits a single slab that measures 2 metres square and has a circular hole. The cover consists of three stone slab sides and a concrete slab roof. Additionally, the original wooden roller, iron handle, and a 20th-century galvanized chain and bucket remain in place.
