Description

This is a well cover located approximately 20 metres west of Plumtree Farmhouse, likely dating from the 19th century. It is constructed from gritstone ashlar and measures about 1 metre square and 1.25 metres high. The south side features a segmental-arched entrance that is rebated for a door, which is currently missing. The cover is topped with a shallow pyramidal two-part capstone.
