Description
Highwood Farm is a cottage dating from the late 18th century, with a 19th-century addition. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with ashlar dressings and features stone slate roofs. The building has raised coped gables with kneelers and a single gable stack. The south front includes a single doorway to the right, which is framed in a flush ashlar surround and has a 4-panel door. To the left, there is a single 3-light flush mullion window, and above it, a similar window. Attached to the left is a single-storey outhouse with a single plank door. On the rear, the left side features a 2-light flush mullion window with a single light that has been blocked. To the right, there is a single window, and above it, a 4-light flush mullion window.
