Description

BRUTON CP ST73SW REDLYNCH 6/200 The Summerhouse, about 70 metres East of East Block, Redlynch Park House 11.3.81 GV II

Summerhouse. Probably early C20, possibly with C18 fragments. Local stone cut and squared with Doulting stone dressings; Welsh slate roof between moulded gables with hipped roof extension to West. 2 storeys, main accommodation on first floor. Timber and glazed West half, with doorway on South side of undercroft; East half solid, with architraved panelled doors on North and South gables with circular windows over; South door approached by long stone staircase over segmental arched recess.
