Description

The Summerhouse, located about 70 metres east of the East Block at Redlynch Park House, is a summerhouse that likely dates from the early 20th century, although it may contain fragments from the 18th century. It is constructed from local stone that has been cut and squared, with dressings made of Doulting stone. The roof is made of Welsh slate and features moulded gables, along with a hipped roof extension to the west.

The building has two storeys, with the main accommodation situated on the first floor. The western half is made of timber and glass, featuring a doorway on the south side of the undercroft. The eastern half is solid and includes architraved panelled doors on both the north and south gables, each topped with circular windows. Access to the south door is provided by a long stone staircase that leads over a segmental arched recess.
