Summerhouse, Kevock Tower, Kevock Road, Lasswade

The summerhouse at Kevock Tower, located on Kevock Road in Lasswade, dates from the mid-19th century and is a two-storey circular structure with a castellated design. It is built from harled brick and features raised ashlar cills, a saw-tooth brick course beneath the eaves, and ashlar coped battlements.

On the principal southeast face, there is a segmental-arched window on each floor, with a boarded door positioned to the left at ground level. The southwest face also has a segmental-arched window on the first floor, while the northeast face features a replacement window on the first floor. The rear has a timber architrave and a timber panelled door that is accessed by a stair. The roof was not visible in 1996.

Inside, the summerhouse is lined with brick and has boarded floors and ceilings, with exposed rafters.
