Description

The summerhouse, located south-west of The Grange, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is a small structure built of painted brick and has a circular shape with a flat front. The roof is conical and covered in felt. The building is a single storey and features a central round arched doorway framed by a reeded architrave, with glazed double doors. On either side of the doorway, there are round-headed windows that have two centered arch lights and leaded panes. At the rear, there is a small brick chimney stack. Inside, the summerhouse has a segmental domed ceiling and a small fireplace at the back, which includes a cast iron grate.
