Description

Samson's Cottage is a 17th century timber-frame house, later faced in brick during the 20th century. It has a pantile roof, with the west side having been rebuilt and gabled ends. The cottage is two storeys high with an attic. It features one window and 19th century casement windows. A left-hand doorway is situated in front of a brick chimney stack, featuring a moulded architrave. An internal brick chimney stack is located at the north end. The interior features stop-chamfered joists and ceiling beams, along with wind braces in the roof. A Victorian terrace is situated adjoining the cottage to the north.
