Description

Stonehall Cottage is a 17th century cottage constructed with a timber frame and painted brick. It features a gable-ended front and a plain tile roof, with a renewed chimney stack on the east side wall. The cottage is one storey with an attic and consists of a single room. The ground floor gable ends are brick, and there is a central door on the south gable with a modern casement window above it. Inside, there is a collar-and-tie-beam truss supported by queen posts. Each gable has three tiers of weathering. The west side has three windows and a plastered ground floor, while the east side includes a 19th century brick addition.
