Description

Ferry Lane Cottage is a 17th-century cottage constructed with a timber frame and painted brick. It has one storey and an attic, topped with a steep plain tile roof. The south end features an external stack, while there is a corner stack at the northwest end. The cottage has two dormers on each side and irregular casement windows, with three on the south side and four on the north side. The north side windows are protected by 19th-century tiled weathering, and the timber framing on the north gable displays a lattice pattern.
