Description

The Thatch is a 17th-century house built with a timber frame and painted brick. It has one and a half storeys and features a half-hipped thatched roof with a single brick ridge stack. The house has two casement dormers with glazing bars. The south end is cased in brick and there are five windows, which include picturesque 19th-century small-paned windows, two of which project on brackets, and one small triangular oriel. A large central porch has a hipped plain tile roof and small-paned glazing. The north end features a 19th-century timber gabled porch.
