Sunnybank is a 17th-century cottage constructed with a timber frame and painted brick, featuring a later addition of painted brick at the north end. The building has one storey and an attic, topped with a plain tile roof that includes an external stack at the south end. The original section has square framing and contains two casement windows in the attic, along with three casement windows and a door on the ground floor. The north end addition has one window range.
