Description

Lasswade Viaduct, designed by Thomas Bouch in 1867, is a six-span structure featuring segmental arches supported by tapered, rectangular-plan pylons. It is constructed from cream bull-faced sandstone, which includes polished voussoirs, a string course, and a curved ashlar cope. The viaduct is finished with light steel railings.
