Description

This is an early 19th century, three-story house of brown brick, with three-window garden fronts at each end. It has fantile and old tile roofing. The north front features rusticated voussoirs around the windows, sash windows with glazing bars, and a doorway with quoins and a traceried fanlight. The south front is rendered and the central windows are blocked. The street front has a wide doorway with a reeded wood doorcase, panelled reveals, and double six-panel doors. The building forms a group with other listed buildings on Mount Street, including the Unitarian Chapel, the Lawn, Mary Street House, buildings in Vivary Park, Wilton House, and numbers 1 to 14 on Upper High Street.
