Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century house with a painted brick facade, originally two storeys in height. It has three windows across the front, with double-hung sash windows featuring glazing bars in plain reveals. The ground floor windows are arranged in groups of three lights. A raised brick band runs between the two storeys. The central doorway has a rectangular fanlight with ornamental glazing, set within a doorcase consisting of a panelled architrave, plain reveals, and a modillion cornice. The roof is tiled. The building forms a group with numbers 66 to 78 (even) and 57 to 61 (odd) High Street, along with Munnions, Banstreets, Bell Street, the Church of St Mary, and the Vicarage on Church Street.
